Region Stockholm and Region Gotland signs agreement with Cambio

Region Stockholm and Region Gotland have signed an agreement with Cambio for the delivery of the main electronic health record system, Cambio COSMIC. The implementation means that the regions will have access to a modern and well-proven system, which is a central part of the healthcare sector’s digital infrastructure. The joint work to implement Cambio COSMIC now begins and is an important step in accelerating the digital transformation within health and social care.

Cambio COSMIC is already used by the majority of Sweden’s regions – several have been working with the system for over 20 years, while others have recently implemented it. The fact that 19 out of 21 regions will use the same electronic health record system opens new opportunities for information exchange, collaboration, and development within Swedish healthcare.
